THE FOOD SAFETY Authority of Ireland has announced a batch of frozen chicken goujons is being recalled because they may contain pieces of plastic.
Kepak Frozen Foods is recalling the batch of Big Al’s Chicken Goujons Gluten and Wheat Frees, which has the 04/06/2016 best before date on it.
The recall follows customer complaints of the possible presence of clear, hard plastic pieces in some packs.
Point-of-sale recall notices will now be displayed in stores that were supplied with the affected batch.
The affected batch number is V95693.
