Four people rescued after pleasure boat catches fire in water off Dun Laoghaire
Dublin Fire Brigade and the Irish Coast Guard have arrived at the pier.

A FIRE ONBOARD a boat in the water off of Dún Laoghaire has been extinguished and the passengers brought safely to shore.
Large plumes of dark smoke were seen rising from the small boat in the water earlier this afternoon.
Four passengers were on board the 11-metre pleasure boat when it caught fire about 1.5 miles north east of Dun Laoghaire. They called the Irish Coast Guard at around 3.45pm to report the fire.
Within 11 minutes the RNLI lifeboat arrived on scene and evacuated the four adults. They were taken onshore for medical assessment.
Emergency services responded to the incident with Dublin Fire Brigade, the Irish Coast Guard, and the RNLI assisting in the rescue.
A RNLI tugboat was used to extinguish the flames as the Irish Coast Guard helicopter flew overhead.
The passengers were assessed on shore by emergency services.
The vessel fire was reported to be extinguished at 5.15pm and the boat sunk, a spokesman for the Coast Guard confirmed.
It’s understood the passengers are largely unharmed.
