Bodies of two fishermen who went missing off Dublin coast recovered

The two men had been missing since 1 April when they failed to return from a trip off the coast of Skerries.

THE BODIES OF two fishermen who went missing off the coast of north Dublin were recovered in the early hours of this morning.

Ronan Browne, 26, and David Gilsenan, 41, were discovered just before 2am this morning by an0ther fishing vessel, RTÉ reports.

The two men had been missing since 1 April when they went to tend to their lobster pots off the coast of Skerries in Co Dublin.

widespread search was conducted earlier this week and last which saw their vessel recovered but the two men remained missing.

Their bodies were eventually discovered this morning five miles east of Clogher head in Co Louth and the two men’s bodies were brought to shore by the RNLI all-weather life boat.
