Children in hospital after bus with 26 on board overturned in Donegal

No serious injuries have been reported.

A NUMBER OF CHILDREN have been taken to hospital after a bus overturned in Donegal this afternoon.

Gardaí are reporting that 26 children were on board the bus. It’s understood that it was carrying the Carrickfergus Rugby Club under 14 team.

No serious injuries have been reported and most of the children were treated at the scene.

It happened on the main Laghey to Pettigo Road just before 3pm.

The injured passengers have been taken to Sligo Regional and Letterkenny General Hospitals.
