Can you play any instruments?

A new musical instrument, created by a Galway musician and built by harp expert Paul Dooley, was launched yesterday.

A GALWAY MUSICIAN has created a new hybrid instrument that combines elements of the ancient Irish harp and the modern harp.

Úna Ní Fhlannagáin told The Journal that she wanted to make an instrument that reflects the music she was used to playing and new cultural influences she gathered throughout her career.

The harpist said that she hopes those visiting and living in Ireland can experience the sound of the early Gaelic harp, explaining that it is the most ancient sound in Ireland.

So, today we want to know: Can you play any instruments?

Poll Results:

No – but I'd like to learn (2273)
Yes – I can play multiple (2250)
Yes – just the one  (2102)
No – I have no desire (1416)
