Second man charged over €1 million cannabis plant haul

Two men were arrested at the scene on Monday and one of them was charged the following day.

A SECOND MAN has been charged this evening in connection with the discovery of €1 million worth of cannabis plants in Tralee, Co Kerry, earlier this week.

On Monday, gardaí seized over 1,000 plants with a street value in excess of €1 million following planned searches in Clash, Tralee. Two men were arrested at the scene and one man in his late 20s was charged the following day.

The second man, a 29-year-old, will appear at Dingle District Court tomorrow at 10.30am in connection with the seizure.
