GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for the public’s help in identifying the body of a man discovered in Carlow town last Tuesday.
Officers said they attended the scene of a sudden death at Cox’s Lane in the town and they believe the man to be in his late 20s or early 30s.
He is described as approximately 5’9” -5’10” in height with short black neatly-cut hair and of dark complexion. He was wearing a red, white and black t-shirt with the wording ‘MCKENZIE’ printed across the chest, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
It is believed the man is from eastern Europe.
A garda spokesman said: “He was also in possession of a dark Puma hooded top and a keychain with a number of keys were found in his possession.
“Investigating gardaí are appealing to anyone who can assist them in identifying the deceased to contact them. Anyone with information is asked to contact Carlow garda station on 059-9136620, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.”
