We’re offering one lucky Journal reader the chance to win a two-night break for two at the four-star Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise, Co Laois, with two delicious dinners and breakfasts included as part of your stay.
Prize winners can kick off their celebrations with a relaxing drink in the Charter Bar when they arrive, before being treated to dinner in the Triog Restaurant, which serves up tasty dishes like baked Atlantic salmon, braised Wicklow lamb shank and grilled 10 oz sirloin steak and chips.
On the second night, you’ll get to enjoy dinner in the laid-back French bistro-style restaurant Kelly’s Steakhouse, which serves dry-aged Hereford entrecote, ranch burgers and fillet steak.
You’ll also get to kick back in the award-winning Midlands Leisure Club which features a 22-metre swimming pool, kiddie’s pool, sauna, steamroom, two jacuzzi hot tubs an overhead water curtain and volcano jets, leaving you feeling refreshed.
