GARDAÍ ARE CONTINUING to appeal for information over an alleged incident of serious assault that occurred just after midnight on Saturday evening in Co Wexford.
The alleged incident happened at around 12.15am in the Burrow area of Courtown Harbour, Gorey.
Gardaí said yesterday that the three injured parties involved were in the process of being interviewed by a team of specially trained officers, with gardaí saying the investigation is of a “sensitive nature”.
It’s understood the alleged offences in this case include sexual assault.
Investigations remain ongoing, but gardaí said due to the sensitive nature of the probe and the ages of those involved that no further information was currently available.
Investigating gardaí have thanked those who have already come forward.
They are again appealing for information and particularly to anyone with dash cam footage to make contact with the incident room at Gorey Garda Station on 053 943 0690 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
