DISCOUNT RETAILER DEALZ has announced it is opening ten new Irish stores creating some 300 jobs in the new financial year (April 2013).
The announcement comes on the first anniversary of the company trading in Ireland and Dealz said the new store will allow for an investment of almost €3 million into the Irish economy.
Since launching in Ireland in September 2011, Dealz has opened twenty stores and invested over €6 million into the Irish economy with the creation of almost 600 jobs.
By the end of this financial year the discount retailer will open additional stores including Dun Laoghaire and Clonmel.
Commenting on the announcemnt today CEO of the company Jim McCarthy said he was thrilled to announce store expansion plans.
“Given that employment figures are so low in Ireland we are delighted that we can offer even more people a job as each new store creates job opportunities across Ireland,” he said.
Earlier this week, Dealz also celebrated the opening of their twentieth store located in Midleton, Co Cork, creating 30 jobs for the Cork area.
