Man in court over Roscommon cannabis seizure

He is due to be charged over a drugs find in Athleague yesterday.

A MAN IN his late 20s is to appear in court later this morning, due to be charged in connection with a drugs bust in Roscommon yesterday.

The suspect was arrested after gardaí discovered about €280,000 worth of cannabis at a growhouse in Athleague during a planned search of a rural property.

His hearing is to take place at Castlerea District Court at 11.30am.
