Photos: Factory dyes hundreds of thousands of cooked eggs for Easter

OMNOMNOM.

IT’S A TRADITION that has never really caught on in Ireland.

We’re not sure how impressed people would be if they woke up tomorrow to real, non-chocolate eggs. However looking at these pictures, it’s pretty tempting.

This factory near Augsburg in southern Germany has been dying up to 200,000 cooked eggs every day in the run up to Easter. Impressive (and colourful):
