EDDIE HOBBS, THE financial advisor who is involved with Lucinda Creighton’s new political party, has said that thousands of people have expressed an interest in it.
Speaking to TheJournal.ie in a wide-ranging interview today, Hobbs said that the as-yet-unnamed party is working on the basis of the general election being a year away but that if it’s sooner “we’ll go with what we’ve got”.
He said that the numbers who had expressed an interest through the Reboot Ireland website is “a multiple of the high expectations already set” adding it was thousands but not tens of thousands.
Hobbs explained why a launch was held last week before a name and policies were determined and expanded on its ‘Minimum Lifestyle Standard’ principle:
