• A man died after suffering a serious head injury following an interaction with gardaí in Dublin city.

A 670-tonne church in Sweden is on the move. 

The Kiruna Church — called Kiruna Kyrka in Swedish — and its belfry are being moved this week along a five-kilometre route east to a new city centre as part of the town’s relocation to prevent it from being swallowed by an underground mine.
