WATCH: The short film about Italia ‘90 premiering at the Dublin Film Festival

Ah the memories.

IF YOU’RE OLD enough to remember Italia 90, you’ll want to see this movie.

If the opening riff of Put Em Under Pressure gives you goosebumps, you’ll definitely want to see this movie.

A mere 27 years after that iconic Packie Bonner save, a film about the summer of dreams is to be shown at this year’s Audi Dublin Film Festival, starting on the 16 February.

A Nation Holds Its Breath is just 20 minutes long, and tells the story of a man who has to make the decision between watching his first child being born or watch Ireland reaching the quarterfinals of the World Cup.

After all, they’re both once-in-a-lifetime opportunities…

It’s part of the Shorts series, showing on Saturday 25 February at 6.15pm in the Light House Cinema.

You may recognise Sam Keeley from kitchen drama Raw as kitchen boy Philip.
