Cyclist seriously injured following collision in Kilkenny

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the crash.

A CYCLIST IN his 30s has been seriously injured in a collision in Co Kilkenny.

The collision, which also involved a car, happened at approximately 5.30pm on Wednesday 24 June.

The male cyclist was conveyed to St Luke’s General Hospital Carlow Kilkenny with serious injuries.

The scene was examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has since reopened.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Road users who were travelling on the L100 Tullaroan Road, Kilkenny, Co. Kilkenny between 5pm and 6pm on Wednesday 24 June 2026 and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
