Bridget Madigan Garda Press Office

Ten years since Bridget Madigan was last seen, gardaí urge anyone with information to come forward

The 37-year-old Tipperary woman has not been seen since 2016 and her family are anxious for her to be found.

GARDAÍ HAVE APPEALED to the public for help in finding a Tipperary woman who was last seen ten years ago today.

Bridget Madigan, who was 37, has been missing since 2016, and her family have said they are anxious for her to be found.

Gardaí have specifically asked anyone who previously came forward but felt they could not give gardaí all the information they had, to contact the investigation team again.

Bridget was last seen on 8 February 2016 in Clonmel. She was reported missing four months later, on 17 June 2016.

In the final confirmed sighting of her, she was wearing black leggings, a long black padded coat, and black knee-high boots with gold around the heel and sole. She is described as 5ft 4 inches tall, of medium build, and with long blonde/brown hair.

She lived in Clonmel but frequently travelled to England. She had gone there in November 2015, just three months before she was last seen, and returned to Clonmel at the end of January 2016, just days before she was last seen.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Clonmel garda station on 052 617 7640, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111, or any garda station.
