THE WINTER OLYMPICS kicked off in Italy this week.

About 3,500 athletes have travelled to Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo to participate in 116 events across 16 disciplines.

There are four athletes on Team Ireland: Thomas Maloney Westgård (Cross-Country Skiing), Anabelle Zurbay and Cormac Comerford (Alpine Skiing), and Ben Lynch (Freestyle Skiing/Halfpipe).
