Do you get hay fever?

High grass pollen levels are expected across the country over the coming days.

AS THE HOT weather continues, with temperatures set to climb even higher this weekend, this time of year can be especially hard for hay fever sufferers.

If you’ve never experienced hay fever (or seasonal allergic rhinitis, as it’s formally called), it’s an allergic reaction to pollen and spores that affects the nose and sinuses.

And if you’re all too familiar with it, you might want to consider keeping the tissues and antihistamines to hand – as high grass pollen levels are expected across the country over the coming days.

Pharmacists have offered some tips to help people reduce the impacts here.
