What started as a small streaming series has since taken off, with three Heated Rivalry club nights in Dublin now sold-out.
CANADIAN SPORTS DRAMA Heated Rivalry is one of the most talked-about TV series online right now.
Heated Rivalry follows two young professional hockey players and their relationship over a decade. While it first grabbed attention for its sex scenes, the conversation has since shifted to the love story it tells and the representation of LGBTQ+ athletes in sport.
The show has also prompted athletes to share their own coming-out stories, including ice hockey player Jesse Kortuem and GAA footballer Kevin Penrose – who says it is “really going to help a lot of people”.
