Clinton: I wish Monica Lewinsky well, I hope she builds a life she finds meaning in

Clinton was speaking ahead of the release of her memoir.

HILLARY CLINTON HAS said she wishes Monica Lewinsky well and said she’s perfectly entitled to express her views in the media.

In an interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer ahead of the release of her memoir ‘Hard Choices’, Clinton said Lewinsky is a “an American who gets to express herself however she chooses, but that’s not something that I spend a lot of time thinking about”.

She said she dealt with her husband’s affair with the woman in her previous book ‘Living History’ and has moved on since.

Clinton would not be drawn to comment on alleged remarks she made, describing the former White House intern as a narcissistic loony-toon.

I am not going to comment on what I did or did not say-back in the late ’90s.

However she did say she wishes her well and she hopes that Lewinsky is able to “think about her future and construct a life that she finds meaning and satisfaction in”.
