Hospital protest

A PROTEST AT ROSCOMMON County Hospital is due to take place today. The demonstration is over the hospital’s possible closure or a downgrade of services. Yesterday, the HSE announced plans to cut temporary staff across services in the west of Ireland in a bid to tackle the €90 million deficit project for this year. Consultations between hospital management and the HSE West is due to take place in the coming weeks through the Labour Relations Commission.
