'Severe delays' for Dublin rail commuters due to fault at Howth Junction

Dublin Bus is accepting rail tickets this morning.

IRISH RAIL HAS said commuters should expect “severe delays” due to a fault at Howth Junction.

Services through the station were halted about an hour ago due to a points problem. Both Dart and commuter services have been affected.

Though Irish Rail said services had started moving back through the station, in the last few minutes the company said Howth services have now been suspended.

Commuters are being advised that services are subject to “severe delays”. Dublin Bus is accepting rail tickets.
