In pictures: march against cuts to youth and community projects

A colourful march of community groups and others took place in the capital today.

MEMBERS OF THE ‘A Spectacle of Defiance and Hope’ alliance marched in Dublin today to protest against cuts to community and youth projects across the country.

The alliance of community and youth organisations as well as arts groups, trade unions, migrant and ethnic groups and students assembled in the capital this afternoon and staged colourful march past the Central Bank.

The group says it wants to “draw attention to the savage economic injustices that were taking place in Ireland”.
