It's that time of year again - the clocks are going back tonight!

Don’t forget.

WELL, IT’S THAT time of year again – the clocks are going back.

Love it or loathe it, the tradition is well and truly alive.

Remember it’s ‘spring forward, fall back’. This means that in March we put clocks forward for ‘daylight savings’, so we can make the most of the brighter days. Then, in October we have to put them back again.

So, what do you need to do?

At 2am we’ll gain an hour.

That means the nights will get darker but the early mornings will be a bit brighter for the moment.

Most smart phones and computers will make the change automatically, but you may have to manually change other clocks in your home.

And don’t forget to change the clock in your car, if it doesn’t change itself! You don’t want six months of confusion.

Daylight Savings Time is scheduled to begin again at 1am on Sunday, 30 March 2025.

This will put the clocks forward an hour again and into GMT+1.
