Kim Jong Un learned to drive at three*

CHILDREN IN NORTH Korea will be taught that the country’s leader learned to drive at three years of age.

That is according to the UPI news agency in neighbouring South Korea.

According to reports, the claim is included in a new teachers’ manual that also says that aged nine he “raced the chief executive of a foreign yacht company who was visiting North Korea at the time”.

Kim won the race “despite the odds”, the manual reportedly says.

South Korean television network YTN reports that a course called Kim Jong Un’s Revolutionary Activities, has been selected for study for the 2015 school year.

It contains no mention of the country’s history, but does claim that Kim learned to drive and yacht at an early age. He can also draw well and compose music, the manual adds.

It harkens back to claims made about his father, Kim Jong Il. North Koreans were told that he had bowled a perfect game on his first attempt and scored 38 under the first time he played golf.
