Bodies of 'man and two women' found at house

Police in Leeds are investigating the deaths of three people found at a house in the city.

POLICE IN THE UK have launched an investigation following the discovery of three bodies at a house in Leeds.

The bodies – thought to be a man and two women – were found at a terraced property in the East End Park area of the city shortly before midday.

Police said initial indications were that there had been a small fire at the premises.

Acting Detective Inspector Mark Atkinson said: “Our enquiries are at a very early stage and we are currently trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deaths.”

Forensic postmortems will be held on the bodies of the three deceased to establish how they died, he said.

Police believe the deaths likely happened in the early hours of yesterday morning and have appealed on anyone who saw the occupants of the house on Friday to contact them.
