Madeleine McCann timeline has changed significantly

A fresh appeal for information will be made on tomorrow night’s UK Crimewatch programme.

DETECTIVES IN THE UK have said that the original timeline of events that was believed to be correct in the investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has changed significantly.

According to Sky News, key details in the original investigation were wrong.

Tomorrow night Crimewatch will air a reconstruction video of what investigators think actually happened to the three year old girl on May 3, 2007 when she was taken from a holiday apartment as her parents dined at a nearby tapas restaurant with friends.

Reconstruction

It is meant to be the most detailed reconstruction of the incident to date and starts with a scene of Madeleine’s parents Kate and Gerry playing tennis.

The reconstruction will also be aired in Germany and the Netherlands.

DCI Redwood discusses how the police have approached the inquiry, stating that it really starts with taking everything back to zero.

The Portuguese authorities came under some criticism for the way in which the investigation was handled, but the Portuguese police are said to be backing and working with the Scotland Yard investigation.
