42-year-old man arrested over child rape
The man was arrested in Omagh and extradited to the Republic of Ireland to face charges of child rape.
A MAN HAS been extradited from Northern Ireland to answer charges of child rape in the Republic.
The 42-year-old man was arrested in Omagh on Monday on foot of a European Arrest Warrant, the PSNI said this evening.
The warrant was in respect of three offences of the rape of a child under the age of 17.
He appeared before Letterkenny District Court in Donegal this afternoon charged in connection with the offences.
