Gardaí have been investigating the small blaze which happened on 25 July.

A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with a fire at The Black Forge Inn in Drimnagh last month.

Gardaí have been investigating the small blaze which happened on 25 July at the pub owned by UFC fighter Conor McGregor.

An Garda Síochána’s Special Detective Unit (SDU) yesterday arrested a man aged in his 20s. He remains detained at a garda station in the Dublin region.

SDU deals with serious threats against the State and is engaged in investigations into terrorist offences.

Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene at The Black Forge pub on Drimnagh Road at around 3am on Friday, 25 July. They found a small fire at the front of the building, which they extinguished.

McGregor acquired the bar in 2020.

Last year, the former UFC fighter was found liable for sexually assaulting Nikita Hand by a jury verdict in the High Court.
