Man arrested over serious sexual assault on woman

The man in his 30s was arrested this morning in Dublin.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a man over a serious sexual assault on a female last week.

Gardaí from Kevin St who are investigating a serious sexual assault on a female on the evening of 11 September 2014 in Dublin made the arrest.

The man, who is in his mid 30s, was arrested at 9am this morning in the Dublin area.

He was taken to Kevin St Garda station, where he is being detained under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.

Investigations are ongoing.
