Man becomes 14th motorcyclist to die on Irish roads this year

The victim of the collision in Kerry was in his 20s.

A MAN IN his 20s has died in a motorcycle accident in Kerry.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was killed when the bike he was driving collided with a car at about 6.20pm on the Abbeydorney to Tralee Road.

The driver of the car, a woman, was not injured.

The deceased has been removed to Kerry General Hospital where a full post mortem will take place today.

An appeal for witnesses has been issued and anyone with information is asked to  contact the local station.
