THREE PEOPLE DIED in road traffic accidents since Monday in Clare, Limerick and Wexford.

A woman in her 80s died, and two other women were seriously injured after a two-car collision in Co Clare.

The collision happened on the R352 near the townland of Moymore in Tulla at around 3.30pm on Monday.

The woman in her 80s, who was a passenger in one of the cars, was taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.

She was pronounced dead early on Tuesday morning.

The two drivers of the cars, both women aged in their 50s, were seriously injured and were taken to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for serious injuries.

In Limerick city, a man in his 40s died following an incident involving a bicycle on Tuesday.

The incident happened on the Dublin Road, Mountshannon, Limerick city, shortly after 2pm.

A male cyclist left the scene and travelled to a domestic residence.

He received treatment from emergency services but was pronounced dead on Tuesday afternoon.

In Wexford, a male in his late teens died following a collision involving a car and a motorcycle.

The incident occurred on the R742 in Ballinvunnia, Kilmuckridge in Co Wexford on Tuesday, shortly before 2pm.

The male was the driver of the motorcycle and was taken to Beaumont Hospital. He was pronounced dead early this morning.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed these incidents to come forward.

Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, are being asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
