A MAN IS being treated in hospital tonight after he was seriously injured in a shooting in Dublin.
Gardaí are investigating the shooting at Cherrywood Drive in Clondalkin at around 10.30pm.
The man was treated at the scene by emergency services before being brought to Tallaght Hospital.
The scene has been sealed off so a technical examination can be carried out.
Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses, or anyone who was in the area between 10pm and 10.45pm, to contact Clondalkin Garda station at 01 666 7600, the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
