Man rushed to hospital after he was hit by a Luas

The incident took place on the Red Line.

A MAN WAS rushed to hospital earlier this evening after he was struck by a Luas.

The incident took place shortly before 6pm near the Red Cow stop on the Red Line.

However, it’s currently unclear what injuries he sustained in the incident.

Dublin Fire Brigade dispatched several units to the scene, including an ambulance and advanced paramedics.

After some brief delay, services on the Red Line have since returned to normal.
