Buried Alive?

Missing Dublin man is feared dead

Gardaí searching for James McDonagh Kenny have completed a search in Newcastle, Co Dublin.

A MISSING MAN is feared dead by gardaí who have completed a search for him in Newcastle, Co Dublin, RTÉ reports.

James McDonagh Kenny was last seen a week ago, driving his car in the suburb Bluebell in Dublin. He had been driving a wine-coloured Mazda 626.

The car was found burnt out later that same evening at Lock Road Milltown between Peamount Hospital and the Polly Hops pub in Newcastle.

Gardaí believe that he may have been targeted and killed by members of a west Dublin criminal gang, after a man described by the Irish Sun as “one of the city’s most notorious and vicious gangsters” had bragged that he had buried the missing man alive near Newcastle Golf Club in the west of the city.

James McDonagh Kenny’s family reported him missing to the gardaí after they had not heard from him for a few days.

Gardaí are still appealing for people with information to contact them at Kilmainham Garda Station on 01-6669700.
