A MOTORCYCLIST has died after a road traffic accident in Co Kilkenny.
The man, who was aged in his 40s, was fatally injured after colliding with a lorry on the N25 at Davidstown, outside Glenmore in south Co Kilkenny.
His remains were removed to Waterford Regional Hospital.
The driver of the lorry was not injured.
The road has been closed for a forensic collision examination and local traffic diversions are in place.
Gardaí in Thomastown have asked anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them at (056) 7754150.
