NBRU Dublin Bus drivers vote in favour of strike action
An NBRU ballot resulted in a 94 per cent rejection of the LRC proposals with 93 per cent voting in favour of industrial action.
DUBLIN BUS WORKERS at the National Bus and Rail Union (NBRU) have voted overwhelmingly for industrial action.
The NBRU ballot has resulted in a 94 per cent rejection of Labour Relations Commission proposals with 93 per cent voting in favour of industrial action.
The vote comes in response to a Labour Court recommendation that Dublin Bus drivers’ overtime and holiday payments be cut along with the number of sick leave days.
It is now likely that there will be another round of LRC hearings in an effort to an avert industrial action.
