#MIDDLE EAST: More than 20 world leaders are gathering in Egypt for a summit on the Gaza peace plan, with US President Donald Trump and Egypt’s Abdel Fattah al-Sisi overseeing proceedings after a release of hostages held by Hamas in exchange for Palestinian detainees.

#KNESSET: Earlier, Trump told the Israeli parliament that the ceasefire he helped broker in Gaza has ushered in the “historic dawn of a new Middle East”.

#EUROVISION: The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) postponed a planned vote on whether Israel will be allowed to take part in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest due to the ongoing the Gaza ceasefire.
