Fota Wildlife Park to close after suspected bird flu cases

The decision was made after a report from the Department of Agriculture regarding suspected bird flu cases.

FOTA WILDLIFE PARK in Co Cork will close to the public tomorrow and on Wednesday after suspected cases of avian influenza, commonly known as bird flu.

The decision was made after a report from the Department of Agriculture regarding the suspected bird flu cases.

A spokesperson said public access to the Wildlife Park will be suspended until Thursday.

They added that further updates will be shared in due course.
