'Normal Barbie' ad shows even dolls have flaws

The Lammily dolls ad deals with pressures of social media, diets and even twerking.

A NEW AD has been released for the Lammily doll which is a ‘normal Barbie‘ and it’s getting a lot of attention.

The ad sees the doll feeling pressure by social media, magazines, models with wings…looking a lot like Victoria Secret models and even twerking.

Creator of the doll Nickolay Lamm said: “I feel that in the doll world, the standards are funny.

So, if we can laugh at the standards in the doll world, maybe it will be easier to laugh at them in the real world.

The Lammily doll sees fat burning and cellulite removal ads everywhere she goes – until she heads to the beach where she decides she’s fine the way she is and sees the other dolls aren’t that perfect either:

The ad is being shared a lot online with even fashion magazines and entertainment channels jumping in:

The Lammily dolls come with stickers that give them ‘real’ attributes like spots, tattoos, cellulite and stretch marks.
