Man charged over murder of Peter Conroy at Palmerstown guesthouse

40-year-old Terry Connors appeared in court earlier today.

A 40-YEAR-old man today appeared in court charged with the murder of 24-year-old Peter Conroy at a guesthouse in Palmerstown, Dublin.

The assault occurred just before 4am yesterday morning on Kennelsfort Road. Conroy sustained serious injuries and later died at Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.

A second man was also hurt in the incident but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

40-year-old Terry Connors, with an address at Drumcairn Avenue in Tallaght, appeared before Judge Michael Walsh in Dublin District Court today.

He was remanded in custody until 17 June when he will appear in Cloverhill court.
