DEIRDRE WADDING COULD become Ireland’s first pagan TD, but she’s hoping that the public will focus on her policies rather than her religious beliefs.

However, a politician’s personal life can sometimes influence voters, and who can get caught up what they get up to in their spare time.

But is it important?
