Poll: Should the property tax register be used to collect the broadcasting charge?

Pat Rabbitte has indicated that the register could be used for the collection of the tax which will replace the TV licence fee.

YESTERDAY COMMUNICATIONS MINISTER Pat Rabbitte said that the property tax register could be used for the collection of the new broadcasting charge.

An expert report has recommended against collection by electricity companies or by RTÉ. With Revenue achiving a compliance rate of over 90 per cent on the property tax, the minister is now considering bringing it on board to handle the new charge.

So we want to know: Do you think the property tax register should be used to collect the broadcasting charge?
