CHECKING YOUR MOBILE while driving is an offence that brings with it penalty points and a fine.

But not everyone is checking what time it is.

A survey by insurers Allianz suggests that one in four Irish drivers have checked their social media feeds while driving, with the worst offenders being those aged between 18 and 34.

But are you one of them? Be honest now.

We’re asking: Have you ever checked your social media while driving?

Poll Results:

No (7354)
Yes (2992)
I'd rather not say (287)
