Explore this centuries-old Rathfarnham villa's 21st century makeover

Riversdale House shares its name with WB Yeats’ final Dublin home, just a mile down the road.

SITTING ON ALMOST half an acre of grounds, close to the River Dodder, is the five-bedroom Riversdale House, a slice of history in Dublin 14.

Built in the late 1700′s, the house has stood on Butterfield Avenue for years, sharing its name with the nearby farmhouse that provided inspiration for WB Yeats when he lived there in the 1930s.
