Red Line Luas services have reopened between Red Cow and Belgard but operating with delays

Passengers have been advised to allow extra time whilst travelling whilst work continues to ‘regulate the line’.

LAST UPDATE | 30 Jun

RED LINE LUAS services have fully reopened but are operating with delays.

From around 5.30am, the line was not operating between Red Cow and Belgard due to a signal fault.

There were no replacement buses in place, though Luas tickets were valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of the service disruption.

Services were operating throughout the stoppage between Tallaght / Saggart and Belgard, and from Red Cow to Connolly / The Point only.

At around 9.10am, Luas announced that the Red Line has fully reopened but is operating “with delays while we work to regulate the service”.

Passengers have been advised to allow extra time whilst travelling.

A Luas spokesperson has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
