Jury fails to reach verdict in Rolf Harris indecent assault trial

The entertainer had been accused of indecent assault against three teenage girls.

THE JURY IN the trial of former TV star Rolf Harris has been discharged after failing to reach verdicts on four indecent assault charges, according to BBC News.

Harris had been accused of four counts of indecent assault against three teenage girls between 1971 and 1983. He had denied the charges.

BBC reports that jurors at Southwark Crown Court had been deliberating since Friday but failed to reach a verdict.

The jury had previously been told that Harris has already been convicted and sentenced in 2014 for other offences.
