RTÉ HAS LAUNCHED an “out of the world” advert for The Late Late Toy Show, which will air on 5 December.
The 60-second ad, which features The Prodigy’s 90s rave classic ‘Out of Space’, will get its first TV airing tonight during the Six One News on RTÉ One.
An RTÉ spokesperson said viewers will be “transported to Mission Control, where host Patrick Kielty is surrounded by his top team of Toy Show astronauts”.
“Together, they are plotting their course for Friday, 5 December, preparing to launch the Toy Show into orbit!”
The spokesperson said the “mission is clear: to make sure the Toy Show’s magic reaches every corner of the universe”.
“From Cork to Sydney and from Carlow to Mars, the countdown has begun for the biggest night of toys, laughter and festive cheer.”
Meanwhile, Audio Description will be available live for the first time during The Late Late Toy Show.
Audio Description is an additional commentary which gives a viewer who is blind or vision impaired a verbal description of what is happening on screen.
Live Irish Sign Language interpretation will also be available on the RTÉ News Channel and RTÉ Player.
The Late Late Toy Show will air on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player at 9.35pm on Friday 5 December.
