This video of men reading sexist tweets to female sports reporters is creating a big stir online
It’s very hard to watch.
USUALLY, THE VERY concept of “mean tweets” being read out on telly is confined to celebrities doing it on Jimmy Kimmel.
But this week the Just Not Sports YouTube channel got male sport reporters to read out some sexist tweets written about their female colleagues.
And it’s blown up
The longer the video goes on, the worse the insults get.
The two female reporters have seen the tweets before they started recording
But their colleagues hadn’t
“There’s a lot of c-words,” says one.
The #MoreThanMean hashtag has started on the back of it
And it’s been viewed over 500,000 times in just over 24 hours
